A Flower in Lines and Colors
I created this painting using a combination of acrylic paint and crayon. To me, these two materials are like two different ways of telling a story. Acrylic paint gives strong and bold colors, while crayon creates free, spontaneous lines that feel close to the heart.
At the center of the painting, there is a large flower blooming with bright colors against a black background. The pink, green, yellow, blue, and red make the flower feel alive, as if it is glowing in the darkness. Around it, there are swirling lines and small shapes like butterflies, making the painting feel light and full of movement.
To me, this artwork tells a story about joy that can grow anywhere. Even on a dark background, colors can still appear bravely. This flower feels like a symbol of free emotions—not always neat, not always perfect, but still beautiful because it is honest.
Through the combination of acrylic paint and crayon, I wanted to show that beauty can come in many ways. There are colors, lines, spontaneity, and a feeling of happiness allowed to grow on the canvas.
