Silence That Holds the Light
I’ve always been fascinated by the lotus.
It grows upon still waters, as if untouched by the noise of the world around it.
I painted it with deep shades of green to express serenity, blending it with soft pink — a whisper of hope in the midst of silence.
What amazes me most is the way the lotus exists — unhurried, unassuming, yet impossible to ignore.
It thrives even in murky waters, yet continues to bring color, continues to bring light.
As I laid my brush on the canvas, I felt as though I was learning from the flower itself:
to keep blooming even when the world feels heavy,
to stay gentle even when life is not.
For me, this painting is a prayer in the form of an image —
a prayer to always find beauty in stillness,
strength in simplicity,
and to keep blooming wherever I am, no matter the circumstance. 🌸
