Steps that Hold Stories
I’ve always believed that every step carries its own story.
I created this sketch because I wanted to capture the meaning behind something we often take for granted — a pair of shoes.
For most people, shoes are simply objects we wear every day.
But to me, they are silent witnesses to life’s journey.
They know the exhaustion of running toward something, and the calm of slowing down to rest.
Every line and texture I drew became traces of time — reminders of places I’ve been, dreams I’ve chased, and feelings I’ve left along the way.
Through this work, I want to remind myself that not every journey has to be grand to be meaningful.
Sometimes, the smallest steps are the most honest ones.
And within every step, there’s always a story waiting to be remembered. 👣
