I painted the words I’M FINE in bright red across this canvas — but the truth hides beneath them.
It’s a phrase we often say, even when something inside us has already cracked.
When I created this piece, I wasn’t trying to make something beautiful.
I was pouring out what I couldn’t say out loud.
The layers of black, red, and white are a struggle — between wanting to appear okay and facing the reality of being in pain.
For me, this painting isn’t just an artwork.
It’s a silent scream — a portrait of many hearts that whisper “I’m fine” while quietly breaking inside.
Through this piece, I wanted to be honest with myself — to remind that it’s okay not to be okay,
that some wounds need to be acknowledged before they can heal. ❤️🩹
